The Explorer: A Five-Star Suite on Six Wheels

Call it a caravan, an RV, a motorhome, or a campervan — The Explorer is India's answer to all four. Built on a 6-wheeled Ashok Leyland chassis with air suspension, it seats 6, sleeps 4 adults and 2 kids, and carries its own power, water, kitchen, and bathroom wherever the road goes.

Seats 6 Sleeps 4+2 Working toilet & shower 1000W solar 500L water Twin ACs Driver included

The Explorer is the only rental caravan in India with a fully functional toilet and shower. It runs off-grid for days on 1000W of solar panels, a 2500VA inverter, and a 4KVA silent genset, purifies its own drinking water with a built-in RO system, and carries 500 litres of fresh water. The only thing it ever needs from the outside world is a water top-up.

The Bathroom Every Other Caravan Fakes

Here's an open secret of Indian caravan rentals: most "toilets" you see in photos are dummies — fitted for the picture, never plumbed. The Explorer's bathroom works, every day of your trip: an indoor WC, a hot shower fed by a 15L electric geyser, a wash basin, and an outdoor shower for sandy feet after the dunes. Behind it sit a 500L fresh water tank, 150L grey tank, and 100L black tank — sized for real families on real two-week trips.

Power That Never Asks for a Plug

1000W of rooftop solar keeps the batteries fed all day. A 2500VA inverter runs the lights, fridge, TV, and chargers silently through the night. And when you want both air conditioners at full blast in a Rajasthan summer, the 4KVA silent genset takes over. Three layers of power. Zero campsite hookups needed — useful, since India has almost none.

A Kitchen You'll Actually Cook In

A proper cooktop, a 120L fridge with freezer, a microwave, a full utensil set — and the detail international guests love most: a built-in RO water purifier. Fill the tank anywhere in India and drink straight from the tap. Street food when you want the adventure; your own kitchen when you don't.

Sleeps 4 Adults + 2 Kids, Seats 6 on the Move

Convertible sleeping for four adults and two children, seatbelted travel seating for six, LED TV with Amazon Firestick, and JBL speakers for the driving playlist. Air suspension on the Leyland chassis smooths out roads that would rattle a smaller campervan apart.

The Evening Setup: Your Campsite, Anywhere

Every booking includes the full outdoor kit: rooftop seating deck for 4 (sunset chai above the treeline), BBQ grill, bonfire pit, camping chairs, and an outdoor recliner. Your driver and helper set it up while you pour the drinks.

Your Questions, Answered

Fully functional — WC, hot shower, and basin, used daily by our guests. We're the only caravan rental in India that can honestly say this, which is exactly why we lead with it. The 100L black tank and 150L grey tank are emptied responsibly by our crew during the trip.
Days at a time. Solar and the inverter handle daily living indefinitely in decent sun; the genset covers heavy loads like both ACs. The practical limit is fresh water — 500L typically lasts a family 3–4 days of showers and cooking before a quick top-up.
A professional driver and helper come with every booking at no extra cost. They handle driving, permits, water top-ups, tank servicing, and the evening camp setup, and they arrange their own accommodation nearby — the caravan is entirely yours.
Yes — The Explorer has done Leh, Spiti, and the high passes. The Leyland chassis and air suspension are built for it, and we handle all Inner Line and Rohtang permits as part of your booking.
Twin ACs: one runs off the engine while driving, the second off the genset or grid when parked. Rajasthan in October or the plains in June — you'll sleep cold if you want to.
