The People Behind My Rolling Homes

Every route recommendation, safety tip, and destination guide on this site comes from people who have actually driven those roads, slept in those caravans, and eaten at those dhabas. We don’t write from research — we write from the driver’s seat.

Harsh Verma — Founder

Harsh started My Rolling Homes because he believed India’s most extraordinary landscapes shouldn’t require a 5-star hotel to experience. After years in the corporate world, he took a caravan across Rajasthan on a whim — and never looked at travel the same way again.

That first trip became a business. Today, My Rolling Homes operates out of Delhi NCR, serving domestic and international travelers with premium caravans and experienced driver-helper teams across India.

Harsh handles business operations, partnerships, and the occasional Ladakh run when he can’t resist. He’s personally tested every route the company offers and has driven (or been driven through) every mountain pass, desert stretch, and coastal road on the website.

Routes driven: Ladakh (Manali-Leh, Srinagar-Leh), full Rajasthan circuit, Char Dham, Spiti Valley, Konkan Coast, Kerala backroads, Northeast India

Total km by caravan: 60,000+ and counting

Priya Sharma — Travel Writer & Route Specialist

Priya joined My Rolling Homes after five years of freelance travel writing for publications including Lonely Planet India and Outlook Traveller. She brings a writer’s eye and a traveler’s instinct — her guides focus on the details that actually matter: where the road surface changes, which dhaba has the best dal, and where to park for the sunrise you’ll remember for years.

She’s covered over 40,000 km across India by caravan, with a particular love for Rajasthan’s desert roads and Kerala’s Western Ghats. Her writing appears across the My Rolling Homes blog, covering everything from first-timer guides to deep-dive destination pieces.

Specialties: Rajasthan, Kerala, international traveler guides, family caravan travel

Notable trips: 21-day Rajasthan circuit (Delhi to Kutch and back), 14-day Kerala coast-to-hills traverse, Golden Triangle with a family of 8 including grandparents

Rohan Kapoor — Head of Operations & Route Planner

Before joining My Rolling Homes, Rohan spent 8 years as an adventure tour guide across the Himalayas, Rajasthan, and South India. He’s certified in wilderness first aid and has personally driven or co-piloted every route the company offers.

Rohan’s writing focuses on the practical side of caravan travel — safety, routes, vehicle preparation, and the operational knowledge that turns a good trip into a great one. When he writes about mountain roads or desert camping, he’s drawing on thousands of hours behind the wheel.

Specialties: Himalayan routes (Ladakh, Spiti, Char Dham), safety protocols, pilgrimage circuits, adventure routes

Certifications: Wilderness First Aid, High Altitude Mountain Rescue training

Notable trips: 18-day Ladakh circuit in monsoon (don’t ask), Char Dham yatra with a 78-year-old pilgrim, 30-day pan-India route survey covering 8,500 km

Why This Matters (E-E-A-T)

Google values content written by people with real experience. Every article on the My Rolling Homes blog is written by someone who has physically traveled the route, tested the advice, and lived the experience they’re writing about. We don’t aggregate information from other websites — we create it from the road.
